What caught my interest in a recent article was the innovative use of plastic for fuel. On its own I thought this was quite innovative but when I read further I learnt it was to be used as aviation fuel, which took it up a few innovative notches.
The person featured in the article was Jeremy Rowsell who is is planning to fly from Sydney to London in a single engine Cessna using 100% recycle waste as fuel. Apparently Jeremy was inspired to use plastic fuel as he’d seen so much of it discarded in the oceans in his flight to honour some of the great aviators of Australia. Amazing how we can see ‘fuel’ for our goals where others see waste.
